1. What kind of chocolate do you use?
We use gourmet chocolate products produced by Blommer Chocolate Company. Belgian chocolate is used for the solid truffles. Kosher Certification documents are available upon request.
2. What type of ink do you print with? Is it edible?
We don't print with ink. We use FDA approved food dye, which acts like ink in creating the image. The image is 100% edible.
5. How do I get my photo or logo to you?
You can email a digital image to info@fotosweets.com. Hard copy photos, business cards, or logos can be mailed to: FotoSweets, 497 Hooksett Road, PMB 241, Manchester NH 03104. Pictures will be returned with completed order.
6. Can I get a sample or see what my items will look like before I order?
For no charge we can send you a digital image of your item for your approval. We do charge a $25.00 sample fee, per item if you want to see the real thing. This fee helps to cover the freight and production charge.
7. How long does it take to get my order?
We recommend allowing 7-15 days. Time starts when photos/artwork is received and payment terms are approved. We recommend allowing at least 4 weeks production time prior to busy holiday seasons. For orders over 1000 pieces call for production time estimates.
8. What type of photo or graphic works best?
Images must be in a JPEG, GIF or TIF format. We recommend images be sent with a resolution of 300 dpi. You can send original photos for us to scan if necessary. They will be returned with your order. The better the photo, the better the reproduction. Keep in mind if it looks jagged, dark and blurry it will print that way. Sometimes if you are not sure of the photo, it’s best to send us a few different ones.
9. What types of payments do you take?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Checks. Payment is required in advance. Checks take 5 to 7 days to clear before your order will be processed.
10. If my photo has several people in it and I want some cut out, can you do it?
Yes. We can crop and fix small imperfections in photos. We can eliminate people in the background and fix minor imperfections to the photo if need be. We take every effort to insure you receive the best possible finished product.
11. What happens if my product arrives damaged?
First we ask you to make a claim with the shipping company and note any damage to the packaging for mishandling. If the product was damaged due to poor packing, we will replace the items at no charge. Prior authorization will be required. You must contact us immediately, within 24 hours to make a claim.
12. How do you ship my orders and keep it from melting during the warmer months?
Prices do not include shipping. All orders are shipped via Fedex, UPS or USPS. FotoSweets will determine the saftest, most economical shipping method based on weather and location to ensure your order is recieved in perfect condition. Chocolate shipped during warm months and/or to warm climates will be shipped next day priority air (with cold packs if necessary) It is always best to check on shipping before placing your order.
13. Do you charge a set up fee?
Setup Charges are $25.00 per image, per order unless otherwise noted.
